Phoenix was born from my own journey through the fire.
As a survivor of domestic abuse, I know what it feels like to lose your voice, your power, and your sense of self. I’ve lived the silent battles behind closed doors, and behind brave faces at work. And I know how hard it is to ask for help when the world doesn’t feel safe enough to hold your truth.
But I also know what healing looks like.
I know what it means to rebuild, to rise stronger.
That’s why I created Phoenix : not just as a brand, but as a movement.
Through my work, I support individual survivors with trauma-informed tools and online resources to help them break free from abuse, rebuild confidence and reclaim their lives.
But my mission doesn’t stop there.
Too many people are suffering in silence at work, afraid to speak up, unsure if they’ll be believed, and unsupported by leadership that simply doesn’t know what to do.
That’s why I also work with businesses and organisations, helping them create safer, more compassionate workplaces through domestic abuse awareness and trauma-informed leadership development.
Because healing doesn’t happen in isolation, it happens in community.
And real change happens when both survivors and systems rise.
This is my why.
This is Phoenix 🔥
I believe every survivor deserves to feel heard, seen, and supported without judgment or pressure. My work is grounded in compassion, empowerment, and real-life understanding; not clinical checklists or textbook definitions of recovery.

I believe every survivor deserves to feel heard, seen, and supported without judgment or pressure. My work is grounded in compassion, empowerment, and real-life understanding; not clinical checklists or textbook definitions of recovery.
Whether I’m supporting someone through their first steps after abuse, or training a leadership team to create safer workplace cultures, I lead with humanity, not hierarchy.
I believe that:
✔️ You don’t need to justify your pain to be worthy of healing.
✔️ Trauma-informed support should be accessible, practical, and rooted in lived experience.
✔️ Empowerment happens when people are given tools, not told what to do.
✔️ Workplaces can (and should) be part of the solution, not part of the silence.
My philosophy is simple: safety first, always.
From there, we build confidence, clarity, and the courage to rise one step at a time.
Survivor-led initiative that brings trauma-informed domestic abuse awareness and education into workplaces — because no one should be punished for speaking their truth.
This mission was born from my own experience. While enduring an abusive relationship, I reached a breaking point and confided in a trusted colleague. Instead of receiving support, I was later disciplined for being “unprofessional.” That moment left me silenced, ashamed, and completely unsupported — right when I needed compassion the most.
Sadly, my story is not unique. Many survivors suffer in silence at work, afraid of judgment, job loss, or HR consequences. I'm here to change that.
Through talks and training sessions, I help HR professionals and corporate leaders:
• Identify the hidden signs of domestic abuse and coercive control
• Understand how trauma affects communication, focus, and behaviour
• Respond appropriately and safely when a colleague/Employee opens up
• Build a work culture that empowers, supports, and protects survivors
These sessions are suitable for HR teams, managers, and staff at all levels. Available virtually or in person, I tailor every session to suit your industry and goals.
Let’s create workplaces where survivors are not silenced — but heard.

💔 Love Shouldn’t Hurt
Real Conversations About Healthy Relationships — for Students in Years 9 to 13
Love Shouldn’t Hurt is a powerful, age-appropriate school talk created to help young people understand the difference between love and control — before unhealthy patterns take root.
As a survivor of domestic abuse, I know firsthand how easy it is to mistake manipulation and coercion for love when you’ve never been taught what real respect looks like. These talks were designed to give students what I never had: the knowledge, tools, and confidence to recognise red flags early and build healthy boundaries.
What students will learn:
• The difference between healthy, unhealthy, and abusive relationships
• What coercive control looks like (and why it’s often missed)
• How to spot red flags like love bombing, isolation, and emotional manipulation
• The importance of consent, respect, and digital boundaries
• Where to get help — and how to support a friend who might be struggling
Delivered in a sensitive, relatable, and empowering way, Love Shouldn’t Hurt is tailored for students year 9 and above. Talks can be adapted for assemblies, PSHE lessons, or enrichment days, with options for Q&A, resource packs, and staff briefings.
Why it matters:
Too many young people experience abuse in silence — or don’t even realise it’s abuse. Early education can literally change lives.
